Immunoglobulin kappa light chain mRNA may be detected in normal and neoplastic B-cells in human lymphoid tissue. The Kappa Light Chain probe is intended to be used for the qualitative detection of human kappa light chain mRNA in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded specimens, such as multiple myeloma, by chromogenic in situ hybridization (CISH).
